PRESS RELEASE: The Oroville City Elementary School District Board of Trustees will be helping Boy Scout Troop 29 of Oroville celebrate its 100th anniversary by having the Scouts pop 100 balloons at their next regularly scheduled board meeting this April 17th, 2024 at the Oroville City Hall. Join the Board in celebrating this milestone for our local Scout Troop at 5:30 PM.

Over the weekend, Alex McFall completed his Eagle Scout project at the Wyandotte Academy with the help of Scout Troop 29 and community helpers. The project was focused on re-landscaping the parking lot islands in the west parking lot including adding new slopes, rocks, plants, and bark. Thank you Alex and Troop 29!

Incredible opportunity for our 8th graders today! The first annual "Butte/Glenn Counties Career Day" was an amazing event! Hundreds of "vendors" representing tons of career opportunities/options, fun interactive activities, free gifts, raffle prizes, and so much more! Many thanks to Butte & Glenn County Offices of Education!

We are so grateful for the partnership we have with each of you, working to in provide the very best educational experiences for your children! We are grateful we get to work with you and your kids! Friday School Spirit Cougar Shirts Day was a success! It was great to see so many students & staff wearing their Ishi shirts today! Way to go, Ishi community! 🌟

Ishi families... Reminder, our cookie dough fundraiser is due next Friday, Oct. 20th. Order forms went home last week. Funds raised help support the 8th grade end of the year field trip, as well as fun activities put on for all students throughout the year. Thank you for your support! 🍪 🍪 🍪

Had a great time with parents/guardians this morning at our first, "Principal's Coffee & Community!" We discussed upcoming events, I answered questions, and we spent some time getting to know each other. Many staff stopped by and joined in. (How can you pass on hot coffee & sweet donuts!) 😉 Our awesome AP, Mr. Diaz, hung out with us for a bit, too! Super proud to be a part of our amazing Ishi community! Looking forward to the next event in mid November! ☕️🍩

Dear Parents: In order to ensure we receive full State and Federal funding for all students, all families need to complete an Alternative Income Form. All students that still need to turn in a completed form will have one sent home this week.
