Happy Summer, Oakdale families.

It is hard to believe that July is over, and we are only a few weeks away from the first day of school.  I wanted to give you some information to help you as your families prepare for the beginning of a new school year.  The first day of school is August 16th, and we are working hard to get the campus cleaned and ready to go.  We have Custodians cleaning the classrooms, Grounds workers working on the lawns, and contractors upgrading all of our internet cables.

If you have questions, or items for enrollment, Tonya is working hard to get students enrolled and assigned to the correct classes.  The Office will be open starting Friday afternoon.  Regular Office hours are from 8:00 - 3:30 Monday through Friday starting August 7th.  Friday, August 4th the office will be open from 1:30-3:30 due to training in the morning.

Class Lists will be posted on August 15th, by 4:30 in the afternoon.  If you want your class information earlier, you may log into the AERIES parent portal to get the information by Monday, August 14th.

Please make sure you log into the AERIES parent portal, as soon as you can to update your contact information and gain access to the mandatory documents that need to be signed, such as field trip forms, and media release forms.  It should only take a few minutes to update your information once you are on.  The link below will take you to the parent portal login.

Please, also make sure you are set up in Parent Square, which you find in the parent portal as well.  This is the mass communication system that the school and the district will be using.  You will want to make sure you have the setting set up to receive notifications in the way that is best for you.  This will ensure you do not miss any important information such as school and district events, important dates, or lockdown information.

Thank you for taking the time to make sure all communication data is updated.  I will be sending out more information as we get closer to the first day of school.

Have a great day,

John Bettencourt, Principal
