Ophir Elementary School is one of seven schools in the Oroville City Elementary School District. Ophir is a beautiful school located in the quiet rural hills of Oroville. It is approximately 1 ½ miles South-East of the city of Oroville. Approximately 645 students are enrolled in kindergarten through sixth grade at Ophir Elementary School.

The vision for Ophir is to insure that all students are valued and are challenged to reach their full potential. Our mission is the belief that all students can learn and will have the opportunity to achieve academic, social, and personal success. The school environment is one in which the value of diversity, as well as the respect and dignity of all individuals is taught and exemplified. Ophir students, staff and parents are very proud of our school.
