Substitute Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in serving as a substitute for the Oroville City Elementary School District. We rely heavily on our substitute teachers and classified and greatly appreciate the support they provide to our district staff at all of the schools. 

Rate of Pay

Our certificated substitute teacher base rate of pay is $225/day. When a substitute assumes a long term assignment, the long-term rate of pay (after 20 days in same assignment) is $245/day.

If you are applying for the classified pool, please note that there is a separate rate of pay.  Please review classified salary schedule step 1 for information.
