Oroville City Elementary School District has set a lofty goal of students reading 600 million words across the whole school district this year. This goal includes Central Middle School, Ishi Hills Middle School, Oakdale Heights Elementary School, Ophir Elementary School, Stanford Avenue Elementary School, Wyandotte Academy, and Sierra Del Oro Preschool.

As of today, October 7, 2019, the students have already read 60 million words!
