A huge thank you to these incredible students along with Drama teacher Ms. Bryant from Studios @ Central Middle School our Visual and Performing Arts School for putting on a wonderful mini play about the history of the American flag at the OCESD Board Meeting this past Wednesday. Your performance was engaging, thoughtful, and a powerful reminder of the meaning behind our flag.
We’re also grateful to these outstanding students for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance—your leadership and confidence truly set the tone for the evening.

At yesterday’s OCESD School Board meeting, we had the privilege of recognizing the hard work of Aiden Wiedenman of Scout Troop 29 👏
Aiden was honored for his Eagle Scout Garden Box Project at Oakdale Heights Elementary School, a project that will benefit students for years to come. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to service truly reflect the spirit of Scouting and community involvement.

Out of 1,000 girls basketball players in the North Section, OCESD had THREE student-athletes selected—this is HUGE, and we are so incredibly proud of our girls and their hard work!

OCESD also congratulates Coach Clint Hopper (Ishi Hills) & Dave Huston (Ishi Hills) on being honored as the 7th Grade Girls Coach and assistant coach, representing the South side of the Northern Section. Well deserved!
